Did you know that by opening your windows it can cost you 40% of your heating bills! With bills set to go up it is important to save where possible. You wouldn't believe how much heat is wasted just by opening a window! As it has been so cold recently this won't have been a problem for you, but then where is your fresh air coming from? It is very important you do have a supply of fresh air into your home otherwise it will result in poor indoor air quality leading to condensation, germs and bacteria spreading, these issues not only have an impact on your health but also your decorating!! 10/12/2010 Snow causes delays

As you are all aware we have been suffering from terrible weather recently, I'm not sure I've ever seen so much snow! The roads all over the country are still very icy and as a result some of our deliveries are having trouble arriving on time. We send our apologies for any problems this may cause you and lets hope the bad weather disappears soon!

Deliveries and despatches: Most suppliers will be sending their final despatches out on Monday 20th December 2010 for delivery prior to Christmas. Despatches will recommence on Tuesday 4th January 2011. If you have any queries on deliveries please contact us on 01756 701051.

Office hours over Christmas: The office will be closed from Friday 24th December 2010 until Tuesday 4th January 2011. We will be checking emails and phone calls during this time.

29/11/2010 How to keep away the winter blues

With the weather as bad as it is at the moment, I like my house to be kept warm and cosy but up until a few years ago this was a luxury I couldn't afford. With rising fuel bills I decided it was time to invest in a heat recovery ventilation system, it is one of the best ways of keeping away the winter blues. My system is able to recover over 90% of the heat from the outside air! I have noticed a huge difference with both the temperature of my house and my fuel bills, so if the snow continues I know my home will be warm.
